The Cove Mountain Story
Cove Mountain Mycology consists of Dustin Charlton and Jenni Robinson. After living the party life in New York City for over 20 years, he, a pro-skater, and she, a hairstylist, moved to the Poconos Mountains. Inspired by the natural beauty around them, they became grounded in sustainable living, working with the environment to farm and wildcraft.
Dustin became fascinated with fungus. Over the course of just a few years, he completed courses at MycoSymbiotics, a leader in the mycological community. With numerous collected certifications and on-going education, he built a studio lab at the forested base of a small mountain in Lehigh Valley, where they grow their mushrooms to create extracts.
Dustin and Jenni began seeing an improvement in their stress reduction and overall health through regular usage of the functional mushrooms he cultivated and processed. This led them to delve deeper into researching how nature enhances bodily health and mental clarity. It wasn’t long before they were making extracts and giving them to friends and family.
This is exactly how Cove Mountain Mycology came about: They wanted to offer extracts utilizing the most technologically advanced methods, but they also wanted to share knowledge they gained through studying how and why changes occur within our bodies through regular use of adaptogenic mushrooms.

About Our Tinctures
All CM2 tinctures are extracted using Ultra-Sonic Dual Extraction.
This method enhances the extraction yield, reduces extraction time, and boosts overall efficiency compared to traditional methods. Incorporating Ultrasound Extraction into our tincture production ensures a more effective extraction of valuable compounds, resulting in high-quality tinctures with enhanced benefits.
We also extract 100% of the alcohol and replace it with an organic, non-gmo, food-grade 99.7% pure plant-based glycerin, a clear, odorless, and sweet-tasting liquid that allows the mixture to easily blend with other ingredients while also acting as a preservative, giving the tincture a shelf life of at least a year when stored in a cool, dark place away from sunlight.

About the Pocono Mountains
This area of the Pocono Mountains is known for its rolling hills and lush wetlands. Some areas have old growth forests, which have been relatively undisturbed for a long time. These ancient woodlands provide a habitat for unique and rare fungal species that are associated with mature trees. The combination of diverse ecosystems, suitable environmental conditions, and scientific interest has made the Pocono Mountains a hotspot for mycological biodiversity, making it a fascinating and rewarding area for mycologists and nature enthusiasts alike.
