Brain-powered Breakfast

Working towards “genius”

OMG YUM.

So this morning, I was in a rush between my workout, walking Moonie, and my hair clients, and had to stuff my face or else I probably wouldn’t be eating ‘till dinner…..and I’m sure that you wouldn’t want YOUR hairdresser working practically brain dead…

When I tell you this is probably how I’m going to take my lion’s mane every morning, you’ll flip.

  • Yogurt (milk or vegan—-you know we are a plant based crew—-no judgments!):

    • probiotics for gut health

      • Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Lactococcus and Streptococcus help with cognition and stress

  • A handful of blueberries

    • antioxidants include anthocyanins and pterostilbene, which can help with brain fog, memory, and blood flow to the brain

    • flavonoids, which may improve memory, learning, and other cognitive functions

  • One banana, sliced

    • rich in potassium and magnesium, which give the brain energy and help with focus and learning

  • Two full droppers of CM2 Lion’s Mane extract

    • famous for its cognitive effects and memory support

THATS IT. I kid you not, the mildly sweet and umami of the lion’s mane extract actually enhanced the taste——it offered a deeper flavor in the way vanilla would!

It was so good, I HAD to share——AND NOW I GOTTA RUN!
