Turkey Tail: Immunity
Wild Turkey tail (Trametes Versicolor) is a woody bracket polypore fungus that grows on dead logs worldwide. These functional, adaptogenic mushrooms are foraged directly from trees in the forests near our home in Lehigh Valley in the Poconos Mountains. We then extract their bio-active compounds using ultrasonic-assisted extraction to maximize their profound antioxidant, anti-immunomodulatory activities in the most potent way possible. These multi-colored little fans are famous for their immune-boosting benefits, as they are packed with polysaccaropeptides that both activate and inhibit the immune cells, suppress inflammation, and, according to some studies, reduce tumor size when combined with medical treatment.
60ml | Serving size: 2ml/day or two dropperfuls
Potential Benefits:
35 phenol and flavonoid antioxidants and high in bio-active polysaccharide prebiotics
Promotes immunity by supporting B-cells to produce antibodies
Reduces and suppresses inflammation
Balances gut microbiome and improves kidney and liver function
Suppresses growth of certain cancers, especially when used in tandem with traditional treatments
Aids muscle strain recovery
When applied with a carrier agent, can reduce the appearance of dark spots by acting as anti-tyrosinase
